You may have landed on my website because you have the feeling that something needs to shift in your life to improve your overall wellness. So many of us have experienced feeling stuck on autopilot, reliving the same habits day after day. Knowing that we want to make a change, but feeling unsure of where to even start.
With so much nutrition and training information out there, and with so many programs focussing on weight loss and improving your physical appearance only - it’s no surprise that we feel despondent when we don’t experience the positive shifts in our mental and emotional patterns that are required for us to sustain a positive lifestyle transformation.
We live most of our life on autopilot, but the most empowering shift comes when we awaken our consciousness to create new, healthier habits. When we analyse unhelpful habits that are keeping us stuck - we can identify them and then set out with a clear plan to change them one by one.
For some, this happens quickly, for others, it happens more slowly and unfolds over time.
Change requires work, patience, consistency and sometimes, a little support.
My approach to Self-Care & Women's Wellness Coaching
To me, a Wellness Coach is a health mentor, partner and a confidant who really has your best interest at heart. Someone who provides support, accountability and guidance to help you feel your best through personalised nutrition, movement and lifestyle changes that work for YOU specifically. Just like no two women are the same, no two women are coached the same.
I'll help you analyse your starting point. Through a collaborative, forward looking process, I take an integrative and holistic approach to health, looking beyond "diet culture" or "ideal body" goals by assisting you to look at other areas of your life that also require nourishment.
These areas include (but are not limited to) movement and exercise, nutrition and your relationship with food, self-care, emotional state, stress-management, sleep, habit and routine formation, self-esteem, body kindness and your relationship with yourself, others and your body.
My goal is to empower you to improve your overall health - providing a safe space to explore all aspects of your well-being. Coaching is a personal relationship - it's open, honest and raw - there is never judgement - only understanding and support.
A big part of Wellness Coaching is fostering a positive mindset which is the catalyst for positive behavioural lifestyle changes.
Analysing and restructuring priorities and routine while reshaping habits is a process that requires commitment and patience and often this can feel overwhelming on your own. That's where a Wellness Coach comes in, to carefully create a personalised plan of action to help you not only start, but progress week on week towards your wellness goals.
I don't prescribe a "one-size-fits-all" workout program, set menu plans or one lifestyle formula - but empower you to master movement and nutrition - to form a holistic perspective on health - helping you to discover what works for YOU, specifically and sustainably.
I'll be your hype woman! Your supportive and motivational guide who won't ask you to "be like me", but, by coaching from an authentic place of experience, knowledge and compassion - I'll help you be the best version of YOURSELF - authentically and beautifully human.
