Hello! I'm Liz.

When I'm not coaching or training, you can find me exploring Cape Town’s trails, beaches and markets with my boys!

In addition to being a full time Women’s Wellness Coach, I am also a certified personal trainer and Pilates instructor.

As a mother and wife, I understand the demands and challenges of balancing a busy schedule while caring for others. I know first hand how difficult it can be to prioritise personal wellness and self-care as a part of a woman’s busy life.

I've had the opportunity to work with clients in a variety of settings, including one-on-one wellness coaching, nutrition coaching, personal training, group fitness instructing and mindset coaching.

My years of experience as a Coach and Instructor with JEFF Fitness gave me the opportunity to work with thousands of women from all around the world. I gained valuable experience helping women cultivate healthy habits and routines that lead to incredible physical transformations and sustainable lifestyle changes.

It was during the years of working with women from all walks of life - all ages and stages of their lives - that I became even more aware of how beautifully unique every woman truly is. And at the same time, how we have so much more in common than we think.

The challenges women face, the struggles with negative self-talk, comparison, body image, self-worth, the pressure of juggling so many roles and responsibilities - and prioritising self-care.

In my own life, years of prioritising my clients and my career started catching up with me. When COVID hit, I was managing a large portfolio of women - pouring myself into my role as coach - to not only support them on their physical health journey, but through the mental and emotional challenges that lockdown brought. I can hardly remember my own experience with lockdown as I was so focussed on work and my clients.

I continued to take on more responsibilities at work and increased the hours I was available to clients. My self-care, health and family started taking strain.

I was no longer coaching from an authentic place. Teaching women to love and respect themselves, make time for themselves and prioritise their physical, mental and emotional wellbeing - while not being able to do that for myself anymore.

The second burn-out was enough to wake me up. My body and my nervous system was severely overburdened and I could no longer ignore the warning signs. I had to make a BIG change. I had to take a leap of faith and create a path for myself that could provide work-life balance. And although it was scary, and took a lot of courage, discipline and focus - it was the best decision of my life.

The simple step to prioritise self-care changed the course completely. And everything shifted.

I recognised the need to help women regain the respect and deep love for themselves to prioritise their own needs - just as they prioritise their family, their careers and their many other responsibilities.

The Self-Care Coach is my true calling; my own unique coaching style that allows me to work in depth with a smaller portfolio of women in a more personalised and focussed way. This gives me the opportunity to have a deeper and more meaningful impact on my client’s lives.

The choice to put your focus and attention on yourself will have a profound impact on your life. I will work with you to create new neural pathways and to rewire old patterns of thinking and behaviour.

I know what it’s like to live in survival mode and have your physical and emotional health overburdened by a dysregulated nervous system. I know how much work it takes to show up for yourself and your needs day after day - to process and do the healing work required instead of distracting yourself or ignoring the cycles that keep you feeling suck and unfulfilled.

I’m here to help you harness neuroplasticity, to provide guidance and gentle accountability to help you stay focussed and consistent. I can help you overcome the mental resistance and natural discomfort that happens when you leave your comfort zone - supporting you to uncover patterns and ways you might be holding yourself back from reaching your most incredible potential.
